Outdoor Belly Photos

Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner!!!  I love taking maternity photos at anytime of the year, but there is something special about being able to get outside in the sunshine and create the first portraits of a baby growing inside their mama's glowing belly!

There are so many gorgeous places around the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island to capture unique belly photographs that are sure to have you remembering your pregnancy fondly - even if it wasn't so fun ;)

I've put together a few examples from maternity photos showcasing the great outdoors in and around the Comox Valley.

Of course if you prefer the privacy of an indoor photo shoot, that is always an option as well :)

The best time to have belly photos done is between 33 and 36 weeks, so keep that in mind if you are considering booking a photo session to celebrate the upcoming birth of your baby.  It is best to book as far in advance as possible, but I am always able to squeeze in some last minute photos as well!

Expectant Radiance

Due to the personal nature of these photos, I am so incredibly grateful that this stunning mama-to-be allowed me to share them!  There were so many lovely ones to choose from that I had a difficult time deciding which ones to include!

Left on Grandma's Doorstep!

This photo shoot was done as a gift for mama - a surprise orchestrated by grandma when little baby Q was visiting.  I hope that mama enjoys her photos!

The Big Kahuna

I love this kid!  I've been wanting to post these photos for a couple of weeks, but I had to wait because I wanted to surprise his mama with them at her baby shower yesterday.

  

This beautiful boy was a whopping 10 lbs 3.4 oz when he was born!  Welcome to the world big guy!

You might know his mama from one of my favorite stores firefly : new beginnings as she is one of the owners :)

 

Jack & Rachelle - Whirlwindy Wedding

When I say "whirlwind" I am referring to the weather!  This couple and their wedding party had to brave the cold and wind - but on the VERY bright side...we didn't see much rain!

Jack & Rachelle were so natural with each other in front of the camera which makes my job a lot easier.  It is obvious that their love for each other is genuine and true :)  My best wishes go out to them and their new life together!

PS. I love it when Rachelle smiles and her nose crinkles up!
