Take Two...in Tutus

The unpredictable nature of children is what makes them so fun to photograph, but it can also make it a little challenging at times as well :)

This was a do-over of a session that I had done with these little ladies a week earlier.  During the first session, we managed to get some lovely solo shots of the girls, but they weren't too into the idea of being photographed together!  Of course things like this are bound to happen from time to time when kids are involved, so mama enlisted dad's help and we gave it a second try...and we succeeded!

I also made these custom tutus for the session, which is something that I am now offering to all of my clients!  I have lots of colours to choose from and your little girl can take it home with her afterward!  For more information on a custom tutu session contact me!

Charming Cherub

This cherub like sweetheart turned on the charm during one of the mini-sessions I did at Firefly : New Beginnings a couple of weeks ago.  

I plan on collaborating with Firefly to do more mini sessions in the Fall...so stay tuned!

 

 

Tranquil Baby Boy

I think this may have been the easiest newborn photo shoot that I have had to date!  Mister S was content while awake and easy to persuade to take a little nap so we could capture a few sleepy images as well.  

A true pleasure to photograph!  Not to mention he is very photogenic at only 2 weeks old.

Simply Sweet

Simply sweet is the only way to describe how this 10 day old baby looks adoringly at his father.  And of course that look is reciprocated from father to son :)

Pat & Jaclyn - Main Street Wedding

Man-O-man...What an awesome day!

Not only did I have the honour of being a guest to this wedding, but I also had the privilege of photographing it.

This wedding could be described as having a vintage flair with a twist of robo-cake!  You will have to look at the photos to see what I mean :)

The groom is one of my oldest friends and I was so happy to see him wed his truly perfect match.

Big Brown Eyes (and tiny bubbles!)

Little T man has only been around for a couple of months, but he already has a great little personality!  So calm & happy :) 

He is the second son of one of my closest friends and I was so glad to finally meet him this weekend.  Who could resist this sweet smile?!

Doe Eyed Beauty

Babies and children have the most amazing eyes!  This little gal has eyes that are like mirrors...simply lovely!

Lovely Lady - Lovely Belly

I stumbled across this gem of a location a couple of weeks ago and BAM - along came this wonderful expectant couple who happily went there with me for their maternity shoot!

I'm so happy with the results and I hope that they are too!  Can't wait to meet and photograph their new little one in July :)

Patiently Waiting...

Today I had the pleasure of photographing my elementary school BFF :)  Although we lost touch long, long ago - the magic of Facebook allowed us to get into contact again!
She is exactly how I remember her 10 or 15 years ago (that's a compliment).  I wish her the best of luck with the birth of her baby boy in a couple of weeks!!!

Birthday Girls

These gorgeous sisters both celebrated birthdays recently.  At 1 and 2 years old, they are only 13 months apart!  Although they were hard to wrangle and we didn't manage to get any photos of the two of them together, they did stay still long enough to capture some very sweet little expressions :)

Check out those eyelashes too...ridiculous!  Thanks for the fun girls!

Plates Eatery and Catering

Plates Eatery just celebrated it's 10th year anniversary this past month.  Plates is comfortable family restaurant with a unique decor that includes a plethora of license plates decorating the walls.  I was in there the other day taking some photos (and having a delicious meal) and taking note of how much the inside of that restaurant has changed!  It has come a long way since it's "Bino's" days :)

Along with the recent changes in the restaurant's appearance, there are also a lot of new great items of the Plates menu!
