Happy Birthday Bailey (yesterday)!!!

This cute little bean just happens to be the daughter of my very close friends.  So, I guess you could say that Bailey and I are pretty tight - she even invited me to her first birthday party last weekend :)

Bailey wows everyone constantly with her incredibly expressive face and I swear that her eyes change colour.  She's an all round cool little girl and I am so happy to know her (and her parents).

I love you guys and I can't wait until you move to the beautiful Comox Valley to see for yourselves why we love it here so much!

Logan, Evan & Paige

I met up with these three adorable siblings on a windy, drizzly day last week.  The weather didn't seem to dampen their spirits one little bit :)

I love this first image - Paige looks so sweet and it looks like her brothers are her personal bodyguards (something that may come in handy as they grow up!)

All of them were really sweet with one another and they seemed happy to go with the flow.  Although, a promise to make a trip to the bakery afterward certainly always sweetens the deal! 
Hmmm.  I wonder if I used the word "sweet" enough in this post.

Christine & Jeremy - Fall Victoria Wedding

This wedding was my last of 2010 and we couldn't have asked for better weather for mid-October.  I got on the road bright and early and headed to Victoria to meet the bride and groom at St. Ann's Academy for the ceremony.  The chapel was a lovely venue for a tear-jerking ceremony!

After the ceremony, we spent some time on the surrounding grounds taking photos with the wedding party in the bright, Fall sunshine.  Thanks to the wedding party for toughing in out in their high heels (ladies) and for getting their hands dirty gathering and throwing leaves for a few of the photos :)

I'm certain that Christine and Jeremy are destined to share a life of happiness together and I wish them all the best!  Congratulations Mr and Mrs Petrovic - I hope you enjoy your first peek at your wedding photos!

Colleen & Jeremy - Under Construction

I am asked to capture many different milestones in people's lives from weddings to the birth of a new baby.  This was the very first time that I have been hired to take photos of this sort.  Colleen & Jeremy are in the process of building their first home.  It is something Jeremy has always wanted to do, so it is of course going to be thought of as a milestone event throughout their lives together.  I have to say that I think it was a fantastic idea to memorialize the process!

We played around the lot for a while snapping photos of them around their work in progress and then headed down to the beach which was conveniently just around the corner.
