Cayse - Newbon Session

Friday, April 26, 2013 | |

Cayse arrived a few weeks ahead of schedule the sweet, calm, little man :)  He was as cool as a cucumber during our session.  He was certainly happy to sleep the day away!

It was really lovely to see how at ease his mom and dad were with him, they truly seem like the perfect little family!

Thanks so much to Wendie, Colin, Cayse & Roscoe!

Sarah and Colin - Maternity Session

Thursday, April 25, 2013

I met up with Sarah and Colin at sunrise in Bowser at the beach for a sunny morning maternity session.  There is no doubt a lot of love between these two and I'm sure they have lots to spare for their little bundle when he/she arrives :)

Thanks so much Sarah and Colin, it was a pleasure to photograph you!

Colleen & Jeremy - 21/2 Years Later

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

Colleen had the wonderful idea of having a photo session a couple years ago to document an important stage in her life with Jeremy.  They were building a home together, you can check out that session here.

Now, the house is done but there are still projects on the go around the house, so they invited me back to photograph them on site on their property.  Oh, and they also happen to be having a baby too!  The focus of the session was more to document the stage of their lives more than a belly session, but that cute lil' belly is in there for sure!

Thanks again to mama and papa to be!  Congratulations to both of you!

Baby Rain - 6 Weeks Old

Friday, April 5, 2013 | |

Rain's mama, Tanya, contacted me for a session a little bit later than I would usually recommend, but I'm so pleased she decided to go for it, because I think we got some great photos of her beautiful girl!

At 6 weeks old, little Rain has a bit of a reputation for not wanting to be put down to sleep on her own, but she ended up doing great during our session :)  Mama wanted a few sleepy baby photos and we did it!  Yahoo!

Thanks Rain and Tanya, it was lovely to meet you!

Danielle & Kylie - Maternity Session

Thursday, April 4, 2013

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful mother and daughter, while they awaited the arrival of their new baby :)

I thought it might make our session a bit more special if they were to include something that represented their First Nations culture, so Danielle had the fantastic idea to bring her beautiful abalone shell and burn some sage.  I was very happy with how those images turned out :)

I really love a lot of the images from this session - I think they are sweet and are represent a special time for mother and daughter.

Thanks ladies, and congratulations to your whole family on the birth of a baby girl.  Kylie is going to be a wonderful, big sister :)
