Kim & Blair - Crossfit Athletes

It's probably pretty plain to see when you look at these images that Kim & Blair's dedication to Crossfit over the last few years has paid off, big time!  As fit and strong as they are now, Crossfit is a sport that has always kept them pushing to strive further and reach their goals.

Kim and Blair's passion for the sport of Crossfit has driven them with the desire to share something exciting within the community of Cumberland.  They are confident that Crossfit is great for all ages of people at all levels of fitness.

They will be sharing their plans for sharing their knowledge, skills and passion with Cumberland over the next couple of months, so stay tuned!

Kai - Newborn Session

Mister Kai arrived five weeks early.  We waited a few weeks before doing his newborn photos, he was still a pretty sleepy little guy, but he definitely had his totally alert times (the one with mama makes me giggle - super alert)!  And, holy CUTENESS!!!  We got a chance to venture outside for a few shots too, which was fantastic :)

Congrats to Shane and Sherlynn on your beautiful baby boy!

Espri's 1st Birthday!

I like this family a lot.  I've seen them through 2 children and 3 homes since I had my first session with them.  I feel fortunate to have been invited many times over the last few years to photograph these special times!  Also, it's so awesome to visit their home and see my images plastered all over the house.  Haha.

We started off this session with some family photos and then did a special cake smash to celebrate Espri's first birthday.  She was quite the dainty, little lady and gracefully picked at her cake.  Big brother, Deiro, joined in to show her how it's done.

Allie & Graham - Engagement Session

Super cute and in love is exactly what these two are :)  Allie and Graham have been engaged for just a few months and they aren't getting married this year, so it was a great idea to get into the spirit of their engagement and have a fun, romantic session :)

Congratulations to  Allie and Graham on your engagement and I hope you have many wonderful years of marriage ahead of you!

Jill & Chris - Maternity Sssion

This was an awesome session, and I'll tell you why!

Chris and Jill were visiting the Valley far from their home in Fort MacMurray and Chris arranged a surprise photo session for his lovely lady during their visit.  Not only that, but he went the extra mile and arranged hair and makeup appointments for her too.  Seriously?!  I think he deserves some props, don't you?

I admit that it made the days leading up to the shoot a bit stressful, knowing how much was riding on it.  It's the unpredictable weather that makes it almost impossible to relax.  Haha, but it all worked out!

This was Jill's first visit to the coast, so the beach was a fun location for our session :)

Jill's hair was styled by Megan at Hairpins and her makeup was done by Lauren MacLean Esthetics.  Nice work ladies!!!
